R1TV representatives visited the Bett 2016 education exhibition in London on 20–23 January. More than 850 companies presented educational technologies and approaches, including distance learning. The visit offered ideas for developing teaching methods. A key takeaway was that technology should serve learners’ needs rather than replace attention to those needs.
