Tuition fee discounts are available for both new and existing students who have a tuition fee agreement and are studying according to a set curriculum. Tuition fee discounts are applied either on the basis of social status or on the basis of academic performance. Below are the tuition fee discounts for which both existing and new students of Riga 1 Distance High School  can qualify.

Social tuition fee discounts*

* - If documents are submitted by 1 September 2018, discounts for one academic year apply:

• 100% discount if low-income status, orphan, large family, pregnant or disabled learner, as well as parents with a child under 1 year of age.
• 50% discount for 2 or more learners from the same family - first-degree relatives and parents with a child from 1 to 3 years old.

If the documents are submitted after 1 September 2018, the tuition discounts are as follows:

• 50% discount for low-income status, orphan, large family, pregnant or disabled learner, parents with a child under 1 year.
• 25% discount for 2 or more learners from the same family - first-degree relatives and parents with a child from 1 to 3 years old.

The discount is applied for one school year. It may be terminated if the learner does not follow the programme according to the curriculum or does not fulfil the conditions of the Learning Agreement with R1DEHS
