Tuition discounts and financial support
Explore school discounts and municipal support. Each type of support has its own eligibility conditions.
School tuition discounts
These discounts apply to the first academic year if the student has been promoted to the next grade. Before applying, check with the school which academic year the offer covers.
100% discount
- 100% discount for students with low-income status, orphans, students from large families, pregnant students or students with special needs, and parents with a child under one year old.
- 100% discount for holders of a 3+ Goda ģimene card.
50% discount
- 50% discount where two or more students belong to the same family (first-degree relatives), and for parents with a child aged one to three years.
- 50% discount for military service personnel.
Conditions that apply to all school discounts
The discount is granted once, for one academic year, provided the student is not combining grades and is enrolling at R1TV for the first time in the basic or general secondary education stage. It may be discontinued if the student does not follow the study plan or fulfil the terms of the tuition agreement with R1TV.
Municipal support
Eligibility depends on the declared place of residence, grade and the municipality’s conditions. Confirm the current amount and application procedure with the municipality before applying.
Ādaži
€42 per month. Both the student and one parent must have their declared residence in the municipality.
Mārupe
€42 per month. The student must have their declared residence in the municipality and be up to 25 years of age.
Ķekava
€70 per month. The student in grades 7–9 or their legal representative must enter into an agreement with the municipality.
Ropaži
€42. The student in grades 7–9 or their legal representative must enter into an agreement with the municipality. Both the student and one parent must have their declared residence in Ropaži municipality.

Ogre
€42. The student in grades 7–9 must have their declared residence in Ogre municipality.
